Chief Engineer at the Department of Public Works, Mr. George Gilbert recently provided this update on the progress of the Old Road Bay road project. 

Here is Mr. Gilbert: 

According to Mr. Gilbert, the Old Road Bay Road Project is expected to be completed in 2021. 

The local company, ‘Rock and Dirt Ltd’ is largely responsible for the construction of the new 1.2 kilometer stretch of road on the Old Road Bay Road in St. Kitts.  

The new road will be extended on reclaimed land and will be approximately 24 feet apart from the existing road, elevated some 15 feet above the current road.
