One person in custody in Jevon Brandy case, death ruled as a homicide taking the murder toll to 3 for 2020
In police news-
One person is in Police custody assisting with investigations into the death of 20-year-old Jevon Brandy of Brown Hill, Nevis, according to a police communiqué.
An autopsy was performed on Brandy’s body on Wednesday Mar. 4th by Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Valery Alexandrov, who concluded that death was as a result of a single gunshot wound to the neck.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Brandy’s body was found lying along the roadside in Nugent Heights, Nevis. Lawmen received the report on Sunday morning Mar. 1st, at about 8:30 a.m.
The District Medical Doctor arrived at the scene and pronounced Jevon Brandy dead. Investigations are ongoing.
The VONNEWSLINE contacted the police, who stated that this death is also ruled as a homicide. Therefore, the murder toll for St. Kitts & Nevis stands at 3, for 2020.
