Opening of Pinney’s Park dubbed a “great one”

The long-awaited Pinney’s Recreational Park on Nevis, named in honour of former Deputy Premier of Nevis, the late Malcolm Guishard, was officially opened on Sunday 19th Dec.

 

This, as a ceremony to mark the occasion was held. Damien Liu from Taiwan’s Embassy (in St. Kitts), told the VONNEWSLINE it was excellent.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a movie night at the park is until December 21st. However, EXPO Activities at the park will continue until December 22nd 2021.

 

There will be a children’s area, booths for vending, a video arcade and more. The US $3 million dollar park is jointly funded by the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Nevis Island Administration (NIA).
