Opposition members have issued New Year’s Greetings to SKN’s citizens and residents with a tone calling for better. Leaders of the three main opposition parties are: the Hon. Dr. Janice Daniel Hodge of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP), Mrs. Natasha Grey-Brookes of the People’s Action Movement (PAM) and the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris of the People’s Labour Party (PLP).
First, NRP’s Dr. Daniel-Hodge said in her statement “this past year has been a challenging one for many of us, but today, we are still here.”
She also mentioned “from Fountain to Gingerland, the call is clear: the people are asking for a government that acts. We cannot endure another year of empty promises and disappointments from this CCM-led government. We must do better for the people of Nevis.”
