That was the voice of Chairman of the AGRI-EXPO 2023 Committee, Mr. Steve Reid Jr.
He was speaking on this week’s edition of the “On the Mark” program, aired on VON Radio.
For 26 years the Department of Agriculture has held the Agriculture Open Day.
The event typically features various aspects of agriculture including: food-preparation demonstrations, fruit and vegetable produce, processed meats, crop-farming techniques, live-stock, the Abattoir services, veterinary services and the Fisheries and Cooperatives department. It also serves as an opportunity for a wide variety members from the privet sector to showcase their goods and services at booths.
For this year (its 27th), the event has been renamed the “AGRI-EXPO”. Mr. Reid further explained that this year promises to be bigger than the others. He announced this recommendation made to him by the members of the general public to facilitate a bigger event.
