Over 70 new laws tabled, 65 successfully passed in National Assembly since start of Parliamentary term

The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party-led administration has tabled over 70 new laws in the National Assembly, since the commencement of its parliamentary term in October 2022. The party won six (6) seats in the August 2022 General Elections, thus forming the Government.

A Sitting of the National Assembly was held on February 27th, where the Bills: Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission Agreement, 2025 and Prisons (Amendment) 2025 Integrity in Public Life (Amendment) 2025 were slated to have their first reading.
