PAM Constituency #2 elects new leadership

The People’s Action Movement (PAM) Constituency #2 has elected new leadership for its Executive in the Central Basseterre area. PAM said on social media “over 30 committed and paid-up members participated in the election process, reaffirming their dedication to the party’s ongoing development in the constituency.”

 

The newly elected executive members are as follows: Chairperson: Levar Flanders-Tross, Deputy Chairperson: Nakesha McDowell, Secretary: Hilton Clarke, Treasurer: Hazel Webster, Assistant Treasurer/Secretary: Mervyn Hazel and Public Relations Officer (PRO): Tawanna Wigley.

 

In the past, Central Basseterre Constituency #2 has produced two parliamentary representatives who served in government between 1980 and 2022 (in the persons of the Right Excellent and Right Hon. Sir Kennedy Simmonds who is the only living National Hero and Former Minister of Education – Jonel Powell).

 

The change in leadership are part of the party’s revitalization efforts. PAM’s leader Natasha Grey-Brookes, congratulated the newly elected executive and said “This election marks another step forward for Constituency #2.”
