PAM set to announce “select candidates” at its 2025 convention
PAM set to announce “select candidates” at its 2025 convention
“Legacy and Leadership: Resilient and Ready!”
That’s the theme for the People’s Action Movement (PAM’s) 2025 convention, scheduled for Sunday June 1st, according to a post on social media on May 7th. At political conventions, the party’s delegates may elect executive committees, provide plans, etc.
Though officially Convention 59, this year’s event carries significance as PAM celebrates 60 years of service to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis (PAM was formed in 1965).
This convention will honour PAM’s legacy while focusing on the road ahead under the leadership of Party Leader Natasha Grey-Brookes. The convention will take place at PAM Headquarters, Lockhart Street, Basseterre, starting at 2:00 PM, with official proceedings beginning at 3:00 PM.
A PAM spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE that during the Convention, the political party will announce “select candidates” or some of its candidates for the General Elections. The date for those Elections remain unknown, but the last General Elections were held on August 5th 2022.
