PAP still ongoing says Minister Phillips; Persons in need of financial aid encouraged to seek assistance
During the Sitting of the National Assembly on Monday June 12th, Senator with responsibility for Social Development, Youth Empowerment, et.al, Hon. Isalean Phillip, spoke to the question currently surrounding the Poverty Alleviation Programme (PAP).
Senator Phillip said the programme is still on-going and that details regarding the transition process will be shared by the Ministry accordingly. She said that such programmes are being upheld by the government to offer financial assistance to eligible persons and such persons should apply and gain information on the process going forward.
