The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) said Elvin Mills, who was identified as a person of interest in an ongoing criminal investigation, was taken into police custody.
Mills, 29, of Soho Housing Development, St. Kitts, presented himself to the Basseterre Police Station in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, police said.
His custody followed a public appeal issued by the RSCNPF on August 19th seeking assistance in locating him.
Following Mills’ arrival at the station, the police thanked members of the public for responding swiftly to the bulletin and for their continued cooperation and support.
The police however did not disclose further details about the criminal investigation or indicate whether Mills was charged. The investigation remains ongoing.
