“Pharmacy Week” celebrated in St. Kitts and Nevis

Pharmacy Week was observed in St. Kitts and Nevis. As part of activities, a group of Medical professionals were guests on last week’s Let’s Talk Program.

 

This was Roshanna Standford who is a Pharmacist at the Alexandra Hospital who explained why it is safe to go to a pharmacist:

 

 

Also present was Medical Doctor at the Alexandra Hospital, Elijah Thompson who spoke on the high increase of High Blood Pressure:

 

 

Dr. Thompson further stated that although garlic is good, if a patient is badly Hypertensive, they will need to do more, such as: visit a doctor, exercise (get a personal trainer), dietician, medication and regular check-ups to get the pressure under control.
