People’s Labour Party (PLP) has officially opened its season for candidate applications. A press release dated Feb. 16^th says “applications can be requested via email at plpcandidates2026@gmail.com and the process will remain open until March 31, 2026, unless extended by the PLP’s National Executive.”

PLP said “candidates will be assessed on their readiness to serve, their ability to connect with constituents, and their potential to deliver results for their communities and the nation.”

“By institutionalizing open participation, the PLP continues to empower citizens and strengthen its foundation as the party of opportunity and fairness”, the party added.

People’s Labour Party (PLP) is a political party based in Saint Kitts. It was established on June 17^th 2013. Currently, it has one seat in the National Assembly.
