Prime Minister of St. Kitts & Nevis addressed the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79), in New York on Sep. 27^th. The Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew spoke of climate change and security:

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. The year’s session was held under the theme: “Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations”.

Thus far for 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season, 11 storms have formed and more recently, met officials in the region have warned that there will be “increased tropical cyclones and severe weather activity”, over the next 3 months.
