Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Terrance Drew, while speaking in the National Assembly on Thursday Feb. 27^th, announced the completion of the 2025 International Monetary Fund (IMF) Article IV Report on St. Kitts and Nevis’ economy.

IMF is a major financial agency of the United Nations with 190 member countries, including St. Kitts & Nevis.

The IMF holds bilateral discussions with members, usually every year, under Article IV of the IMF’s Articles of Agreement. A staff team visits the country, collects economic and financial information, and discusses with officials the country’s economic developments and policies. The Report can be viewed at imf.org.
