PM Drew issues address for CARPHA-COMISCA Collaboration and Cooperation

Pending the official launch of the CARPHA-COMISCA Collaboration, Lead Prime Minister for Health in CARICOM, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew issued a Statement on behalf of the region.

 

 

 

The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) is the new single regional public health agency for the Caribbean.

 

 

 

The Agency rationalizes public health arrangements in the region by combining the functions of five Caribbean Regional Health Institutes (RHIs) into a single agency. The Council of Ministers of Health of Central America (COMISCA) constitutes the political body of the Central American Integration System (SICA), whose purpose is the identification and prioritization of regional health problems.
