Police debunks claims that SKN’s latest homicide victim was a witness in a criminal matter
“Information being circulated on social media stating that Dahlia Hanley was a witness in any prior criminal matter is false,” the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force said in a Press Release.
51-year-old Dahlia Hanley of Lime Kiln, St. Kitts, became the Federation’s 4th homicide victim on Valentine’s Day (Tuesday Feb. 14th), at approximately 4:10pm. The incident occurred at the Irish Town Primary School, where she worked as a security guard.
“The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) is presently following every lead to develop this investigation and pin point the motive and possible suspect(s) in this Homicide,” police say.
In addition, lawmen said there were no gunshots fired by any member of the security forces in the Valentine’s Day shooting incident. This took SKN’s murder toll to 4 so far for 2023 (3 in St. Kitts, 1 on Nevis). Persons with any information pertaining to this homicide are asked to call the Violent Crime Unit at 465-2241 or 662-3468
