Police force hosts second Supervisors Training Program
Last week, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force made a commitment to professional excellence by hosting the second leg of a Supervisors’ Training Program.
The event was led by Deputy Commissioner, Cromwell Henry, Assistant Commissioner, Andre Mitchell and Force Personnel Officer, Ms. Eartha Carey. The sessions focused on key topics such as Ethics in Policing and Management Skills and Styles.
Officers engaged in hands-on role-play scenarios, practicing performance evaluations and strengthening their supervisory abilities.
According to the force, “these high-energy sessions were both informative and enjoyable. Our dedication to developing skilled, ethical officers is resolute. We will continue to serve our community with integrity and professionalism”.
And ahead of Sunday May 11th (Mother’s Day), the police force took a moment to celebrate the incredible women in the force in their various ranks who balance the demanding roles of officers and mothers. Each was presented with a rose as a symbol of appreciation for their strength, resilience, and essential contributions both in uniform and at home.
A release on the force’s Facebook page stated that these women serve with steadfast commitment in one of the most challenging environments. Nevertheless, they persevere, continuing to perform with compassion, discipline, and care. We send warmest Mothers’ Day wishes to all mothers across St. Kitts and Nevis, including those who may not have yielded children but have selflessly raised, nurtured, and guided others to adulthood with unwavering love, time, and care.
