Police Force issues reminder about renewal of Learner’s Permits
Police Force issues reminder about renewal of Learner’s Permits
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has issued a notice, reminding all motorcyclists and other individuals holding learner’s permits that these permits expired on December 31st 2024.
The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) will reopen for business on January 3, 2025, as they were closed on January 1 and 2, 2025, in observance of the public holidays.
In the Police Force’s message they urged “individuals to renew their permits promptly to ensure compliance with the law.”
Motorcyclists, in particular, are urged to prioritize the renewal of their permits as soon as the offices reopen.
Permit holders are reminded that operating without a valid learner’s permit is against the law and should take steps to address this matter at the earliest opportunity.
