“Police has investigated & the file submitted to DPP”, surrounding Minister Grant’s incident
The High Command of The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) commenced an investigation into an incident that occurred on January 8th 2022, at the Last Lap Bar in Bird Rock, St. Kitts. The incident involved Minister of Tourism et.al, Lindsay Grant.
In a statement last month, Mr. Grant said “I do understand the position that I hold… I wish to assure the public and the police in particular that I fully support their efforts of the preservation of law and order.”
St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party’s (SKNLP) Political Leader, Dr. Terrance Drew, called for the “immediate resignation” of the Minister after the video went viral on social media with him, Mr. Grant accosting compliance officers of the NEOC Task Force.
Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hilroy Brandy on Feb. 10th, provided an update on the matter.
