Police investigates a four-vehicle traffic accident in St. Kitts

Police in St. Kitts are investigating a traffic accident that occurred on Friday, March 15th at New Road, Basseterre.

 

 

 

According to a Press Release, it involved four (4) vehicles. Motor Car PB 2877 owned by Michael Hodge of Phillip’s and driven by Kristal Duncan also of Phillip’s, Motor Car PB 3558 owned by Caribbean Lottery and driven by Janet Nisbett of New Road, Motor SUV PA 9119 owned and driven by Hemal-atha Aravind of Parray’s Extension, St. Peter’s and Motor Pick-up PB 6538 owned and operated by Yogash-warn-auth Balgobin of Cayon.

 

 

 

The incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

Investigations indicate that all four people were travelling west to east towards New Road with Ms. Duncan first; Ms. Nisbett second; Ms. Aravind third; and Mr. Balgobin at the rear. Ms. Duncan came to a stop as did Ms. Nisbett and Ms. Aravind.

 

 

 

Mr. Balgobin collided with Ms. Aravind’s rear, and this caused her to collide with Ms. Nisbett who then collided with Ms. Duncan’s rear.

 

 

 

Medical forms were issued to Ms. Duncan who reported that she is twenty-eight (28) weeks pregnant; Ms. Nisbett who complained of pain in her back, neck, and head; and to Ms. Nisbett’s passenger who also complained of pain in her head, neck, chest and forehead.

 

 

 

All three persons were transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital via ambulance
