As we continue to see more and more traffic accidents in the federation, the police has informed the VON NEWSLINE of an accident which took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 21st, 2023.

The accident took place on the island’s main road in Conyers, St. Kitts between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

It involved Motor car PA4937 that is owned and driven by Kenrick T. Phillip of Stone Fort Estate and OMNI Bus HA 356, owned and driven by Arnold Adams of Sandy Point.

Investigations revealed that upon impact, both vehicles were extensively damaged and (the bus driver) Mr. Phillip and one (1) passenger from the omnibus are currently hospitalized at the Joseph N. France General Hospital in St. Kitts and listed in stable condition.

Seven (7) other persons, including a child and Mr. Adams were also treated at the Joseph N. France General Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision
