The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) issued a public safety advisory urging residents and visitors who use the Frigate Bay golf course and surrounding areas in St. Kitts to exercise extra caution.
In a statement issued, the police said the advisory comes in response to recent reports and concerns in the area. While no specific details were disclosed, members of the public are being encouraged to remain alert, be aware of their surroundings, and avoid becoming complacent when moving through public spaces.
The Police Force is also seeking anyone who notices suspicious individuals or unusual activity to report it immediately to the authorities.
According to the RSCNPF, investigations into the reported matters are ongoing, and officers are working closely with other security partners to address the situation and prevent any further incidents.
Police say the cooperation of the public remains critical, noting that information shared by community members could assist ongoing investigations. Further updates are expected to be issued as more information becomes available.
