Jamie Herbert of Newton Ground, St. Kitts, was charged by police in relation to an accident on Dec. 11^th 2024, which resulted in multiple fatalities.

On Friday January 17^th, Mr. Herbert was charged with five (5) counts of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving, and one (1) charge of Causing Injury by Wanton Driving.

Mr. Herbert’s charges were laid at the Sandy Point Police Station.

The Dec. 11^th traffic accident took place on the island’s main road, in the vicinity of Brimstone Hill and resulted in the deaths of at least four (4) persons in St. Kitts.
