Police Officer Shot in Pond’s Pasture, St. Kitts

Police are investigating a shooting that left one of their own injured in Pond’s Pasture, St. Kitts, on the evening of July 30th.

 

24-year-old Talbert Warner, a police officer from Verchilds Village, was shot in the back while seated among patrons at Ritchen’s Food Business. Gunfire erupted between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., with Warner being the only reported injury.

 

He was rushed to the Joseph N. France General Hospital and remains in stable condition in the Surgical Ward. The Crime Scene Unit processed both the shooting scene and the hospital, collecting several items of evidential value.
