Police seize 4th illegal firearm for 2023

Lawmen have seized an illegal firearm, following a search that was conducted on a person at a business establishment in Lime Kiln, St. Kitts, on Monday, February 13th.

 

 

 

During the search one (1) LCPS Ruger and five (5) 9mm rounds of ammunition with the magazine were found. This latest seizure takes the number of firearms seized by police, to four (4), so far for 2023.

 

 

 

Previously, on February 2nd, police seized a Sig Sauer 223 pistol with one .380 round of ammunition, at New Pond Site, in St. Kitts.

 

 

 

This was the Federations 3rd illegal firearm seized by lawmen.

 

 

 

In 2022, a total of seventeen (17) firearms were taken off the streets of communities around the Federation.
