Police have provided an update on a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Sunday Apr. 28th, between 4AM and 5AM on the Newtown Bay Road in the vicinity of the SOL fuel facility, St. Kitts. This was SKN’s first road fatality for 2024.

Lawmen arrived on the scene and observed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) technicians attending to one (1) male. A police spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE that “further inquiries have led to the victim being identified by a relative as fifty (50)-year-old Marlon Daniel of Barnes Ghaut, Nevis.”

Police said “additional updates will be appropriately provided as the investigation progresses.”

Although he was transported to the JNF General Hospital for medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. Anyone who has information about this incident, is urged contact the nearest police station or the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 707.
