The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has urged citizens and residents particularly vehicle owners to desist from tinting windows and glass in the vehicle outside the allowance of the law.

In St. Kitts and Nevis, persons are allowed to tint up to 35%. However, police officials have indicated a growing increase in the number of vehicles in the federation violating the legislation. Lawmen have stated that the practice has been linked to persons who wish to carry out criminal activity behind the darkened atmosphere and are asking for the compliance of the public in helping to reduce the infraction on the respective law along with other associated offences.
