Premier Brantley’s press conference rescheduled to March 31

The Premier’s monthly Press Conference which was scheduled for (today) Tuesday Mar. 25th has been rescheduled, a notice from the Office of the Premier indicated.

 

The notice reads: “the Office of the Premier advises that the press conference of the Honourable Mark Brantley, Premier of Nevis, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, at 10:00am will now take place on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at 10:00am.”

 

In related news, considering Premier Brantley who travelled overseas on official duty on Monday, March 24th, during his absence, Deputy Premier – Honourable Eric Evelyn will serve as Acting Premier of Nevis.

 

Premier Brantley is part of a federal delegation travelling to Nigeria to attend a high-level investment summit. He is scheduled to return to the Federation on Sunday, March 30th.

 

Meanwhile, St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew also departed the Federation on Monday Mar. 24th with a high-level delegation to Abuja, Nigeria, to participate in the African-Caribbean Investment Summit, which is being convened, under the theme: “Bridging Continents: Africa and the Caribbean — A Partnership for Prosperity.”

 

Accompanying Prime Minister Drew includes: Spouse of the Prime Minister; Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew, Premier of Nevis; the Hon. Dr. Mark Brantley, Federal Minister of Agriculture et.al; the Hon. Samal Duggins, Cabinet Secretary; Dr. Marcus Natta among others.

 

The members of delegation are expected to participate in a series of high-level engagements, including investment meetings, panel discussions, and cultural exchanges designed to promote partnerships that benefit both regions.
