Premier encourages public to practice caution when at sea

 

 

 

Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley as he addressed a recent fatal boat tragedy which took place on April 19th 2023 resulting in the death of 58-year-old Ishmael Hanley.

 

 

 

Mr. Hanley was said to be struck by a boat owned by a local company. Following the impact, he was assisted by the captain of the boat. He was then transported to the Alexandra Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Premier Brantley expressed condolences to the family. He also encouraged the general public to exercise caution to prevent future incidents of similar nature:
