Premier outlines Increases in Revenue over the last 12 months
Premier and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Mark Brantley, in outlining Nevis’ domestic economic performance, reported steady revenue growth and stronger fiscal stability up to October 2025. The recurrent revenue expectations were set at 230.72 million dollars.
Despite the year still in progress, recurrent revenue as of October 31 stood at $134.66 million, an increase of $6.93 million or 5 percent over the same period in 2024.
Increases in tax revenue were also highlighted despite initiatives aimed at providing financial relief to consumers:
Premier Brantley also highlighted the contribution of several other key inflows to revenue. International financial services continued to play an important role, generating 13%of recurrent revenue. Additional contributors included the Social Services Levy (8%), stamp duties (8%), import duties (8%), customs service charge (7%) as well as water rates (5%).
Meantime – Projected expenditure was set at $203.82 million dollars. Premier Brantley gave this report:
