As the Nevisian community mourns the gruesome murder of a couple in Brown Pasture last Thursday morning, Premier of Nevis, Dr. Hon. Mark A. G. Brantley spoke on the matter that evening during the latest edition of the Government at Work Program.

Further, Brantley said that crime is a social phenomenon. Crime doesn’t commit itself; we commit crime and implored persons within the community to work with the police to solve crime:

On Thursday September 3^rd, the bodies of 62-year-old Mario Andrew and his partner, 52-year-old Caroline Rodrigues, both of Brown Pasture were found unresponsive at their place of residence.  The police continues with their investigation into the matter.
