The voice of Nevis’ Premier, Hon. Mark Brantley as he shared sympathy remarks to the family of Nevis’ 1st Road Fatality victim for 2026, the late Keshawn Merchant who lost control of his Motor Scooter on the night of Monday, June 22nd.
Mr. Merchant succumbed to his injuries that he sustained at the scene of the accident on Old Hospital Road and was pronounced dead.
The Premier also reminded motorists to be responsible at all times:
Hon. Brantley provided these remarks during a Sitting of the Nevis Island Assembly on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. The late Kishawn Merchant will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 18th, 2026.
