Present Cold air in SKN expected to end by April

Met Officials in St. Kitts & Nevis have informed the VONNEWSLINE, that the present cold air especially at nights citizens and residents experience, is expected to end shortly.

 

 

 

Meteorologist at the St. Kitts Met Office, Mr. Denel Dixon, spoke of a cold front responsible for the cold air.

 

 

 

A cold front is defined as the transition zone where a cold air mass is replacing a warmer air mass. Cold fronts generally move from northwest to southeast. Mr. Dixon explains:
