Prime Minister Drew addresses ongoing halt in issuance of US student visas

Prime Minister of St. Kitts-Nevis, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew has provided an update on where the federation stands following the halt made by the United States in issuing student visas.

 

 

The decision by the US raised concerns for countries across the world on how their students hoping to or currently pursuing tertiary studies in the United States would be affected. According to official reports, US embassies across the globe were ordered to stop scheduling visa interview appointments. Additionally, the administration has moved to deport students, while revoking thousands of visas for others.
