Prime Minister, the Hon Dr. Terrance Drew, has been nominated for the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award and Tribute by the Most Influential People of African Descent or MIPAD which is affiliated with the United Nations. PM Drew made this statement:

Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew. He will be recognized on September 26, 2025 during the MIPAD’s Recognition Weekend, at the Harvard Club in New York City, in conjunction with the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

In the past other figures that have been honoured are Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Lebron James and Serena Williams.
