Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, will participate in a diplomatic meeting with United States Secretary of State,  Marco Rubio, alongside regional counterparts from the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and The Bahamas. This high-level engagement is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

The forthcoming discussions are expected to be instrumental in defining future cooperation between the U.S. and the Eastern Caribbean. A comprehensive range of critical regional and international issues will be addressed, with a focus on enhancing strategic partnerships and promoting mutual development.

Dr. Drew highlighted the importance of this meeting in the context of the current global landscape. He was quoted as saying “The United States remains a significant strategic partner to St. Kitts and Nevis and the wider Caribbean. This meeting underscores our collective commitment to ensuring that the urgent needs of our region are acknowledged and that effective pathways for cooperation and development are identified.”
