Prime Minister the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris recently commented on the live matter regarding Minister of Tourism et.al the Hon. Lindsay Grant accosting police officers on January 8^th at the Last Lap Bar in Bird Rock, St. Kitts.

Since then, Minister Grant during a press conference stated that any questions or inquiries should be directed to his lawyer.

The High Command of Police Force commenced an investigation into the incident and in an update on Feb 10th, stated that the file on the matter, is before the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Mr. Valston Graham.

However one week later, on Feb 17th, Mr. Graham issued a press release, stating that “it is and has always been within the powers of the police whether to charge Mr. Grant.
