With ministries and departments in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) making announcements as to their plans for the New Year, the public continue to be informed on some improvements, progress and projects they can expect to see on the island.

As it relates to the Public Works Department (PWD), the people of Nevis should be able to expect a number of projects and workers at the department will engage in a series of training in auto mechanics, paving and road construction.

With the department completed a number of projects in 2023, its expects to achieve a number of goals during the onset of 2024.
