A quake with a magnitude of 3.7 was recorded near St. Kitts, on Monday Jan. 20^th.

Information from the University of the West Indies-Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC), indicates that it occurred at 12:21pm.

Its location was Latitude: 18.05 degrees N, Longitude: 62.24 degrees W. St. Kitts coordinates are latitude: 17.35 N, longitude: 62.78 W.

The quake took place 99 km, NE of Basseterre.

Other nearby cities included: Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda and Brades, Montserrat. On Tuesday Jan. 14^th, a 3.5 quake was recorded near Basseterre, St. Kitts.

There were no felt reports for the abovementioned quakes.
