Renovations at Charlestown Police Station anticipated to be done year-end

On November 25th, 2025, Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley provided an update on the ongoing renovation of the Charlestown Police Station.

 

According to the Premier, the contractor, LEFCO Equipment, confirmed that work had restarted, with only minor finishing tasks remaining. He expressed hope that the refurbishment could be completed by year-end.

 

The reason for the halt on the work was given:

 

 

Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley. Also work would have started on the Charlestown Police Station in the year 2023 after the relocation of the officers and departments to the Winston Skeete Complex, Low Street, Charlestown.
