On Tuesday July 15^th, senior officers and personnel of the RSCNPF visited Saddlers Village and Harris’, in St. Kitts, for an evening community walk-through, including door-to-door visits and open conversations with residents in the streets.

Commissioner of Police, Mr James Sutton led the events and Deputy Commissioner, Mr Cromwell Henry was present, along with Assistant Commissioner, Mr Travis Rogers, and Superintendents, Mr Jasper Carty, Mr Lyndon David, Ms Carla Wallace, and Mr Irving Bradshaw, among others.

Residents expressed delight at seeing police officers walking through the villages. The residents welcomed the opportunity to speak freely as their voices were heard with conversations covering concerns about abandoned buildings and derelict vehicles, public smoking, and a clear request for more regular community engagement, just like this one.

Residents were assured: those walk-throughs are coming.  The Commissioner extended his gratitude to every officer and staff member who took part in the event. This formed part of efforts to strengthening the public’s trust in the police.
