RSCNPF investigating wounding and larceny incidents which occurred during St. Kitts Music Festival

During a statement issued following the St. Kitts Music Festival, lawmen are currently seeking the assistance of the public as it investigates two incidents which took place during the festival.

The force is currently investigating one reported incident of wounding that occurred during the Festival, as well as a case of larceny where a student’s handbag was snatched near the old Basseterre High School gate as she made her way to the venue. They have urged anyone with information that may assist with these investigations to come forward. Gratitude was also extended towards the general public for their support and cooperation throughout the staging of the 2025 St. Kitts Music Festival. The statement went on to say that the festivities were concluded without any major security disruptions, owing in large part to the commendable conduct of patrons and the public at large. Additionally, a total of 54 illegally parked vehicles were towed. While this figure is notable, the police said they are generally satisfied with the level of compliance observed with the traffic management and parking restrictions implemented around Warner Park and surrounding areas.
