Saharan Dust: SKN to be “dust free” by Wednesday

A Saharan Dust Plume has descended upon the eastern and southern Caribbean, casting a hazy veil over the region.

 

 

 

The dust is carried by winds from the Sahara Desert in North Africa. It has engulfed countries from Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago to Barbados and Saint Lucia in the east. Meteorologist at the St. Kitts Met Office, Mr. Denel Dixon, gave the VONNEWSLINE this information:
