Saint Kitts and Nevis condemns terrorist attack in India

St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir (all in India).

On behalf of the Government and people of the Federation, PM Drew said in a statement “we stand in full solidarity with the Government and people of India during this time of sorrow.”

Prime Minister Drew added, “St. Kitts and Nevis joins the international community in denouncing this senseless act of violence and mourning the lives lost.”

Gunmen killed at least 26 people and injured a dozen others on Tuesday.

The killing of tourists gathered at a Himalayan beauty spot in Pahalgam was one of the deadliest incidents in Indian-administered Kashmir in recent years, according to reports from the BBC.
