Featured in Residence and Citizenship Programs 2026, the Global Citizenship Program Index forms part of a comprehensive benchmarking report assessing the world’s most important alternative residence and citizenship options. The publication evaluates programs based on factors such as reputation, quality of life, visa-free or visa-on-arrival access, compliance, processing time, transparency, and investment requirements. It also includes expert analysis on private wealth migration, sovereign equity, and the evolving concept of citizenship.

While Malta ranks 1^st and Austria 2^nd, Saint Kitts and Nevis shares its 3rd-place position with Grenada. Other Caribbean jurisdictions — including Antigua and Barbuda in 5^th, Saint Lucia at 6^th, and Dominica positioned 7^th, also perform strongly, reinforcing the region’s prominence in the global citizenship landscape.
