The Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU) will be accepting applications for the facilitation of loans for small business development or expansion and the requisite training in the coming weeks.

That is according to Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Mr. Colin Dore.

This comes following a signing ceremony between the Nevis Island Administration and the Republic of China (Taiwan), on December 30^th 2019 , for the provision of a loan of EC$ 5 million to facilitate Small Business Enterprises here on the islands.

This re-lending project through the Unit is aimed at men up to age 35 and women seeking to start their own businesses.

Mr. Dore noted that persons wishing to embark on this course must not come empty handed.
