Semi Airborne Drone Geophysical Survey currently taking place in St. Kitts

In its efforts to identify the location of underwater aquifers, the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Utilities-St. Kitts is currently undertaking a Semi Airborne Drone Geophysical Survey across the island.

 

 

This comes as the federal government continues to seek an increase in the island’s available water supply and the country, as nations across the world continue to grapple with water issues due to the effects of climate change. 

 

 

Minister of Public Infrastructure and Utilities et.al, Hon. Konris Maynard stated that the new project is a show of the government’s commitment in using modern solutions to tackle longstanding issues.
