Seniors Garden Competition to be held in Nevis

The March 18^th edition of the “Let’s Talk” Program featured officers of the Department of Agriculture and Social Services Seniors Division, speaking on the first ever Seniors Garden Competition to be held on Nevis.

It is open to all senior citizens residing on the island aged 65 and above. There are several categories that persons can enter, they are: the most Beautiful Flower Garden, best Vegetable Garden, most Creative Container Garden, most Accessible Garden and most Sustainable Garden.

Registration is now open and ends on Thursday, April 17^th, 2025. The judging period starts in July 2025. Forms can be collected at the Social Services Department, Ministry of Health et. al. and the Department of Agriculture. For more information, please call 469-5521 EXT(s) 6299 or 6794.
