Several Schools in St. Kitts switched to remote learning due to COVID-19 exposure

Several schools in St. Kitts switched to remote learning on Tuesday, due to COVID-19 case exposure.

 

That is according to notices issued to parents and guardians by the Ministry of Education (St. Kitts), some of which informing them of the change on Sunday, September 12th.

 

The VONNEWSLINE contacted Permanent Secretary of Education, Mr. Vincent Hodge, who spoke about the schools impacted:

 

 

When asked if this was similar to what occurred on Nevis,  that delayed the start of  their new school year due to COVID-19 exposure, he had this to say:
