An allegation from an unknown source was circulated in the public domain regarding the Government purchase of 16 acres of land above the Bath cemetery to be used for a premier’s residence.

On an edition of the “On the Mark” program aired on October 9^th 2019, Premier of Nevis the Hon. Mark Brantley addressed the claims.

However during an edition of the Let’s Talk program aired on October 22^nd 2019, concerns arose about questioning public officials on situations such as the aforementioned.
